How Air Beds are Described As
Air Bed
Described
An air bed is much like an inflatable mattress but is larger and much
more sophisticated. Air beds are typically composed of plastic
(polyvinyl chloride). They come with an electric pump and with a
firmness control. There are permanent air beds that are created for the
purpose of replacing a traditional mattress and which are mounted on a
special foundation. Some couples find the permanent air beds more
comfortable, especially if they contain a separate firmness control for
each side of the bed. If the air bed contains latex rubber air chambers,
it may last for years with daily use. The cost of these types of beds
are approximately the same as they are for a good quality coil spring
mattress.
Air bed is actually a term that is used when describing the different
options available in a plastic inflatable mattress. In recent years,
these mattresses have become quite popular due to the flexibility of
their use. Many people use them on camping trips or for overnight guests
in their homes. Many different companies manufacture these types of
beds.
The beds may vary in style, composition and durability depending on the
company from which you purchase your bed.
The Aerobed brand has become synonymous with air beds, probably because
they were among the first companies to market the air bed. Most people
find the Aero-bed to be very comfortable. Their beds provide comfort, as
well as durability. To provide this durability and extra strength, these
vinyl beds are electronically welded at the seams. In addition, the beds
can be inflated quickly and with ease by using their patented One Touch
comfort control. This will also give the sleeper a firmness that may not
be achieved with other air beds. Most of the Aero Beds come with a cover
and tote for storage. In addition, some of the beds even contain memory
foam for extra soft, yet firm support.
